Congratulations to Michelle Wright, Patricia MacRae-Pasula and Rob Coumont on their newly appointed positions. Both Michelle and Patricia have transitioned from Directors of Inclusive Learning to Division Principals as of March 1. Rob will become our Director of Inclusive Education effective this August.
Patricia is a University of Alberta graduate with a Bachelor of Education degree majoring in Business and Phys Ed. She began in RDCRS in 1998 and has held positions of teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, vice-principal and principal of St. Gabriel Online School, St. Martin de Porres School and Holy Family School. Since 2013, Trish has been the Director of Inclusive Learning.
Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Alberta. She began teaching at RDCRS in 1996. Her administrative career started with vice-principalships at École Mother Teresa School and École Camille J. Lerouge School then principalships at St. Teresa of Avila School and St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School. Michelle has recently held the position of Director of Inclusive Learning since 2015.
Rob has been with RDCRS for 12 years and has grown as a faith-based instructional leader. A graduate of Concordia University College of Alberta and a currently obtaining his Masters of Educational Leadership at the University of Prince Edward Island, Rob is known for his strong instructional and assessment practices and knowledge of authentic learning environments. He has been a classroom teacher, Learning Coach, LIFT Lead and supported the development of the provincial CTF program alongside Red Deer Catholic in collaboration with Alberta Education. Rob is currently the assistant principal at Father Henri Voisin School and supports the Division as a member of the AP/VP Mentorship Team and Division PBL Team.
