Elite 19U baseball team coming to Central Alberta next summer

Next season, Central Alberta will become home to an exciting, elite-level 19U summer baseball team. 

The Gulls 19U Prep Team has been made possible through a collaboration between the Sylvan Lake Gulls and the St. Joseph High School Baseball Academy. It will offer high school and gap-year aged students an opportunity to further their growth on and off the baseball diamond. 

Current Ball Academy Head Coach Jason Chatwood, who also serves as GM and Head Coach of the Gulls, will be responsible for the management of the new 19U Gulls Team. Ball Academy Director Scott Murray will take the field alongside Chatwood as manager.  

The new team will play out of Gulls Field at Pogadl Park in Sylvan Lake.
