Division

We are a publicly funded school Division with an elected Board of Trustees and governed by the Education Act. Our schools welcome children of all faiths who desire a Catholic education.

We serve over 10,650 students in 21 schools in Red Deer, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Rocky Mountain House, Innisfail, and Olds, as well as an At-Home Learning Program. We also support the learning of over 1095 students in a Traditional Home Education Program.

Our Division is committed to serving children and parents with a complete offering of learning opportunities delivered within the context of Catholic teachings.

Our staff community is made up of approximately 571 teachers and 416 support staff including administration, transportation, and maintenance. The Division operates a yearly budget of approximately $113 million.
