Wellness Wednesday - Crisp Sweet Chili Chicken

On this week's Wellness Wednesday, Char shares her recipe for crisp sweet chilli chicken.

Crisp Sweet Chilli Chicken
(Low Cal/high protein)

Per serving:

  • 399 calories (including rice)
  • 47 grams carbohydrates
  • 4 grams fat
  • 39 grams protein

Ingredients:

  • 600 grams diced chicken breasts
  • 25 grams corn flour
  • Smoked paprika/salt/pepper for taste
  • 35 ml light soya sauce
  • 60 grams light sweet chili sauce
  • 35 grams Sriracha
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 15 grams fresh ginger or ginger paste
  • 20 grams of honey

Directions:

  • In a ziploc bag put the flour, paprika, salt & pepper. Place diced chicken in a bag and shake.
  • Cook chicken in frying pan until golden brown and cooked throughout
  • Set chicken aside.
  • In a frying pan add the rest of the ingredients until it starts to bubble.
  • Add chicken to the sauce for another 5 min.
  • Serve with rice (110 grams per serving) and choice of vegetables.
