Wellness Wednesday - Crisp Sweet Chili Chicken
On this week's Wellness Wednesday, Char shares her recipe for crisp sweet chilli chicken.
Crisp Sweet Chilli Chicken
(Low Cal/high protein)
Per serving:
- 399 calories (including rice)
- 47 grams carbohydrates
- 4 grams fat
- 39 grams protein
Ingredients:
- 600 grams diced chicken breasts
- 25 grams corn flour
- Smoked paprika/salt/pepper for taste
- 35 ml light soya sauce
- 60 grams light sweet chili sauce
- 35 grams Sriracha
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 15 grams fresh ginger or ginger paste
- 20 grams of honey
Directions:
- In a ziploc bag put the flour, paprika, salt & pepper. Place diced chicken in a bag and shake.
- Cook chicken in frying pan until golden brown and cooked throughout
- Set chicken aside.
- In a frying pan add the rest of the ingredients until it starts to bubble.
- Add chicken to the sauce for another 5 min.
- Serve with rice (110 grams per serving) and choice of vegetables.
