Happy retirement, Heather Weaver!

Today's retiree spotlight is focused on Heather Weaver:

Although my time to retire came too soon, I am looking forward to the adventures that lie ahead as my husband and I prepare for our move to Whitehorse, Yukon.

After teaching up north and overseas, Red Deer Catholic was an instrumental part of my teaching experience that brought me 23 years of wonderful memories. I was blessed to be a part of the beautiful communities of Ecole Mother Teresa, St. Elizabeth Seton, St.Thomas Aquinas and St. Joseph High School. There wasn’t a time that I didn’t feel that my calling was and always has been to be a teacher and a counsellor. A special thank you to all of those who have been a part of my journey here and to my team at SJHS who brought me so much sunshine and laughter these last two years-I am forever grateful.

This is not goodbye, but see you around…on the beaches, the trails or on a mountain top!!
