Board, Senior Admin meet with local MLAs

Our Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Finnigan, our Secretary-Treasurer Laurel Latka, and the Board of Trustees met with Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills MLA Nathan Cooper, who also serves as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly; Red Deer North MLA and Minister of Health Adriana LaGrange; and Red Deer South MLA Jason Stephan on Monday morning to discuss a range of important issues affecting our schools.  

Topics included class sizes, budget limitations, the new early learning assessments, and the need for a new school in Sylvan Lake.  We believe these conversations are vital to ensure our students' needs are met and we thank our local MLAs for taking the time to meet with us.
