Edwin Parr Award nominee and finalist announced at Board of Trustees meeting

We were so moved last night at the Board of Trustees meeting, celebrating the incredible work of our Edwin Parr Award nominees.

We are proud to announce that Avery Lajeunesse of St. Gregory the Great Catholic School has been nominated for the 2025 Edwin Parr Award, recognizing outstanding first-year teachers. Her commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment is truly commendable.

We are also thrilled to share that Jillian Klevyer of St. Joseph High School has been selected as our Division Finalist and will be moving forward to the ASBA Zone 4 Edwin Parr Awards. Jillian's innovative teaching methods, dedication to inclusivity, and passion for student success make her an exceptional educator. Her ability to integrate cultural understanding and faith into her lessons, along with her engagement in school and community initiatives, is truly remarkable. We are so proud of the impact that Jillian has had in her first year of teaching.
