Best wishes on your retirement, Betna Huddleston
This morning, we celebrate another of our retirees.
Betna Huddleston graduated with a B.Ed Degree from the University of Alberta in 1988. She completed her Catholic Religious Education Certificate with Newman College in 1995.
Mrs. Huddleston spent three years teaching with the County of Grande Prairie, Chinook’s Edge and Edmonton Catholic Schools before joining RDCRS in 1991.
She has since taught with Red Deer Catholic Schools for 31 consecutive years including 8 years at Maryview school (1991- 2000) and 23 years teaching grade 3 at Holy Family School (2001-2023).
In her 34 years of teaching Mrs Huddleston has taught over 780 homeroom students grades 1-9 and has been a music specialist.
In retirement Betna is looking forward to travelling, design projects, crafting and spending time with her husband Mark, their 4 children Christopher, Mackenzie, Matthew (Isabelle) and Calista, as well as her 3 step-sons Bill (Amanda), Brent (Susan), Brad (Amy) and 7 grandchildren.
